Named 2nd best place to live in the United States (Money Magazine 2006), Naperville is a large city located in DuPage and Will Counties, Illinois. As of 2006 the city’s estimated population was 147,779. Approximately two thirds live in DuPage County while the remaining third resides in Will County. The past two decades have seen a dramatic growth in population which can be attributed to large expansion of major companies. High performing school districts are another reason for Napervilles recent growth. The city has two school district; Naperville School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204. The high schools in Naperville School District 203 were ranked in the top three percent of high schools in the United States by U.S. News and World Report. Neuqua Valley High School and Waubonsie Valley High School both part of School District 204 are ranked top schools in country for their music programs. These two schools received the Grammy Gold Signature School award (2005, 2007). Institutes of higher education as well as colleges and universities with campus’s in Naperville include North Central College, a Northern Illinois University, DePaul University, DeVry University, Governors State University and Northwestern Business College.

One of the city’s best features is the Naperville Riverwalk. It spans four miles along the DuPage river with paths running through the downtown area and various surrounding neighborhoods. The Riverwalk, along with 130 parks, 4 sports complexes and two golf courses are all managed by the Naperville Park District.
